Hey [newsfield name=”name”],
Happy New month.
Do you make this mistake in running your business?
Just last Thursday, March 28, to be precise, I decided to call a friend who is a General Manager Finance in a multinational company
Guess what? I called him around 10 pm in the night. After the usual pleasantries, I asked, where are you?
He said I’m about to close from work. I said what? What are you still doing in the office at this time? He said, “this is month end. The parent company abroad is expecting the financial report for the month, next week”.
This is what separates men from the boys in the realm of business management!
As an entrepreneur, as a business person, do you always have your monthly financial report?
Few Nigerian business persons bothers themselves about monthly, quarterly reports. Some are less concerned about annual financial statements.
If you are among those who care less about having regular financial statements; you are losing money; you are losing information that will make you to understand the financial heath of your business; and majorly you are losing opportunity to make decisions to improve your business.
