CAC Announces Revised Service Fees Effective August 1, 2025

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a review of its service fees, effective August 1, 2025. This adjustment follows consultations with stakeholders and a review of operational costs in light of current economic realities.

According to the CAC, the revised fees aim to enhance service delivery, support digital transformation, and ensure the sustainability of its operations.

“The review is modest, competitive, and essential for maintaining a responsive and technology-driven corporate registry,” the commission stated.

Key Changes in the Fee Structure Include:

For Companies:

  • Voluntary Striking-Off:
    ₦50,000 (small companies), ₦100,000 (public companies)

  • Relisting: ₦50,000 (LTD/GTE), ₦100,000 (Public)

  • Due Diligence Search (Self-Service): ₦50,000

  • AGM Extension: ₦50,000–₦100,000

  • Historical Search Reports: ₦20,000–₦30,000

  • Director Address Restriction: ₦25,000

  • CTC of Documents: ₦5,000 per copy

For Limited Partnerships:

  • Striking Off/Relisting: ₦25,000

  • Letter of Good Standing: ₦10,000

  • Registration + CTC: ₦30,000

  • Change of Name: ₦10,000

For Business Names:

  • Voluntary Striking-Off: ₦10,000

  • Relisting: ₦25,000

  • CTC/Extracts: ₦5,000 each

  • Proprietor Address Restriction: ₦25,000

Name Reservation remains unchanged at ₦1,000, with ₦5,000 for restricted words.
